Synopsis for Dodgeball

Sure, World War II defined millions of young Americans, just as Vietnam and the ‘60s shaped another generation. But what single event, what major force can account for Generation X and legions of wayward young Americans today?

One word: Dodgeball. The grade school game that democratically leveled millions of innocents with a red rubber ball.

Today, Generation X cannot trust, they can’t find their footing. Is there any hope?

This 21-minute “docu-remedy” attempts for the first time to expose the overlooked menace that scarred this generation for life. Through fierce investigation and shocking confessions, through flashbacks to gym floor action from the 1970s, Dodgeball grabs the problem by the roots – in the hope that the hurting will stop and the healing can begin.
